Mary F. Temm, MHSA
President

As President of Temm & Associates, Inc., Ms. Temm is responsible for the oversight of all consulting engagements. Ms. Temm provides overall direction and expertise in the advancement of health care strategies, including the development of innovative programs. Her ability to translate strategic vision into tactical initiatives has allowed her to increase profitability, grow revenues, develop innovative cost containment measures, and increase market share for our clients, while ensuring the highest quality of care. Ms. Temm is proficient at handling complex working relationships, including balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders. Her reputation for innovative revenue enhancing and cost containment measures through collaboration and problem solving has attracted many clients.

Ms. Temm has been instrumental in developing and expanding a variety of managed care programs and services. She recently led the successful design and development of the contracting efforts of a large HMO in obtaining a five-year Medicaid contract valued at over $3.4 billion in revenue. She has also directed the implementation of key operational start-up functions for a variety of clients. Her experience with managed care programs and services spans over 20 years and multiple states.

Ms. Temm is a frequent speaker at educational conferences for state and national health care associations on topics such as managed care development, managed long term care programs, capitation rate development, operational structures, information technology needs and integrated care delivery systems.

Ms. Temm holds a Masters in Health Services Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in accounting and finance from Benedictine College.

Jennifer Clark, RN, CCM
Vice President of Program Development

In her role as Vice President of Program Development, Ms. Clark provides consultation, education and training for our clients. Ms. Clark’s expertise in operational assessments, case management, clinical operations, information system analysis and compliance, is a tremendous asset to our clients across the country.

Ms. Clark’s experience spans over 20 years, ranging from operating room nurse, home health nurse, case manager, and information systems consultant to senior health plan executive. In addition to developing case management systems to serve at-risk elderly in both urban and rural markets, Ms. Clark designed and implemented a care management software system, which supports elderly, chronically ill and/or disabled populations.

Ms. Clark holds a nursing degree from Central Methodist College, is a licensed registered nurse and a Certified Case Manager.

Karla L. Panich
Vice President of Operation 

Ms. Panich is responsible for the oversight of all operational functions. As one of the organizations founding principals, Ms. Panich has played a key role in its creation and growth. Ms. Panich brings over two decades of operations and information systems experience to Temm & Associates. Her technology background as enabled her to develop innovative, state of the art operational systems, which we utilize to serve our clients.
